Rep. Deeter Highlights Controlling Board Approval for All Ohio Future Funds for Furniture Parkway Project
State Representative Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $1.8M in funding for roadwork construction of 1,000 linear feet extending Furniture Parkway, allowing access to the proposed Sealcore LLC development site.
“This investment is a step toward unlocking economic growth in Norwalk and the surrounding area,” said Deeter. “It is a shining example of the good that can result from a private-public partnership and will greatly benefit both the businesses and residents of Norwalk.”
As a result of this funding, 25 full-time jobs will be created in the city of Norwalk.
The All Ohio Future Fund was established in the 2024-2025 State Operating Budget. This initiative provides funding to support local communities with site-readiness and preparation to attract economic development projects. The funds are administered through the Ohio Department of Development.
