The program focuses on distressed communities that face hardships for implementing economic development and job creation. Ghanbari has identified one city within the 3rd Ohio House District that is eligible to apply.

“I’ve been monitoring the unfolding situation in Afghanistan very closely, and the tragic death and wounding of both American military personnel and Afghan civilians due to cowardly terrorist attacks in Afghanistan today is both heartbreaking and disturbing. As a member of the military who served in Afghanistan from December 2010 through July 2011, I grieve for my fellow service members whose lives were taken today, and pray for a full recovery of those who were wounded.
