State Representatives Riordan McClain (R- Upper Sandusky) and Bernie Willis (R-Springfield) recently introduced House Joint Resolution 2 (H.J.R. 2), which calls for Ohio to join the convention of states with the goal of limiting the power and jurisdiction of the Federal Government and discussing the issue of term limits for officials and members of Congress. 

COLUMBUS – Ohio will join the growing lists of states to establish local unmanned aerial vehicle laws thanks to State Representative Bernie Willis’ (R-Springfield) legislation that was signed by the Governor Wednesday.

COLUMBUS — State Representatives Bernie Willis (R-Springfield) and Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) have introduced legislation that will focus on increasing cybersecurity and updating security standards on all election systems amongst a variety of additional voting changes. 

COLUMBUS –State Representative Bernie Willis (R-Springfield) has voted in favor of overriding the veto of the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act by Gov. Mike DeWine. 

COLUMBUS – State Representative Bernie Willis (R-Springfield) has voted in favor of an Ohio Senate resolution to increase the percentage of state voters required to make Ohio constitutional changes. Senate Joint Resolution 2 will increase the current threshold of 50% plus one vote to 60% of state voters before changes to the Ohio Constitution can be made. This resolution will be voted on by Ohioans to adopt the change.
