Ghanbari Presents Commendation to Otsego High School for Five-Star Rating

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) recently visited Otsego High School to present a commendation recognizing the five-star overall rating on the Ohio School Report Card. The representative spoke with students, staff, faculty and administrators during the visit.

“I want to congratulate the entire Otsego Local Schools community on this accomplishment,” Ghanbari said. “Report cards are designed to give parents, communities, educators and policymakers, information about the performance of districts and schools — to celebrate achievement and success and identify areas for improvement. This is certainly a win for Otsego as they pave the path forward for the educational success of our students.”

Ghanbari presented the commendation to Superintendent Kevin O’Shea, Principal Ashley Braucksieck, and student Reed Canterbury.

The Ohio State Report Cards give information to provide clear and easily available reporting on student performance, drive local conversations on school improvement and identify schools to receive supports for improvements.
