Rep. Jarrells receives 2022 Small Business Advocate of the Year award for his advocacy and support of Ohio small businesses
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Dontavius Jarrells (D-Columbus) yesterday received the Small Business Advocate of the Year Award from the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE).
"I am honored to be awarded the 2022 Small Business Advocate of the Year award. Small businesses make up 99.6% of all businesses in the state. They provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs, create jobs and uplift their communities through dedicated service," said Rep. Jarrells. “I will continue to support small business owners in Ohio and do whatever it takes to help them thrive.”
The Small Business Advocate of the Year award recognizes public officials who have sponsored, supported, or drafted legislation on behalf of small businesses throughout Ohio.
COSE is the small business division of the Greater Cleveland Partnership. The council provides:
Member networking and educational events;
Advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues;
Navigation to the right resources and solutions;
Cost-effective group purchasing programs to help its members succeed and grow.
