Rep. Jarrells Champions Creative Pathway Program at Columbus College of Art & Design

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Dontavius L. Jarrells (D-Columbus) today expressed strong support for the Creative Pathway initiative at Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD), a groundbreaking program that provides high school students with a direct path to careers in the creative industries.
“I am proud to stand with CCAD and their Creative Pathway initiative, which not only fosters the growth of Ohio's future artists and designers but also strengthens our state’s creative economy," said Rep. Jarrells. "This program aligns perfectly with our shared goal of providing more educational opportunities that connect students to real-world career outcomes. Investing in the arts is investing in the future of our state and our nation."
CCAD’s Creative Pathway initiative offers students the chance to earn college credits while still in high school, making higher education more affordable and accessible. The tuition-free program helps young artists and designers gain hands-on experience and skills that are in high demand, equipping them with tools to greatly impact our community.
