Rep. Jarrells Brings Columbus Community Together for Inaugural Block Party
COLUMBUS — State Rep. Dontavius L. Jarrells (D-Columbus) Saturday hosted the inaugural All of Us Block Party at the MPACC BoxPark. The free, family-friendly event was a vibrant celebration of culture, connection, and collective strength. Throughout the day, constituents were treated to live music, delicious cuisine from local vendors, and access to valuable community resources.
The event spotlighted Black-owned food vendors and artists as well as local organizations offering vital services, such as health screenings, voter registration, youth programming, and financial literacy.
“The All of Us Block Party shows what is possible when neighbors, families, and partners come together with open hearts. We created a space filled with joy, culture, and resources that strengthen our community. This is the Columbus we are building—one rooted in unity, dignity, and love,” said Rep. Jarrells.
By bringing together culture, connection, and community resources, the All of Us Block Party offered something meaningful for everyone. This inaugural event has laid the foundation for an annual tradition celebrating unity and empowerment in Columbus.
