COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $150,919 for the Arts and Science building envelope renovation project in Marietta, Washington County.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) supported legislation with a vote on the Ohio House floor to memorialize highways and bridges around the state. Two of these dedications will occur in the 95th Ohio House District. 

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) and Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) today passed House Bill 583 out of the Ohio House of Representatives, legislation that intends to make changes to the Ohio Revised Code regarding educator licenses for substitute teachers, to establish a study committee on the substitute teacher shortage, and to make an appropriation.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) supported legislation with a vote on the Ohio House floor that would allow law-abiding Ohioans to carry a concealed handgun without a permit. The measure was been approved by the Ohio House of Representatives.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Fair will return in 2022. State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) and the Ohio Expositions Commission announced Friday the state fair will return to full operations July 27- Aug. 7. 

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $130,000.00 for two projects in St. Clairsville, Belmont County. 

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $1.2 million from the Rural Industrial Park Loan fund to support a construction project in Noble County, State Representative Don Jones announced today.

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $156,344.00 for a renovation project at the Noble County Correctional Institute located in Caldwell Ohio.  

COLUMBUS –State Representative Don Jones (R-Freeport) announced his support of legislation that will establish a County Jail Construction Funding Formula, which passed out of the Ohio House this week.
