Board Approves Funding for Washington State College
COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $150,919 for the Arts and Science building envelope renovation project in Marietta, Washington County.
“Washington State College is a wonderful asset for our community members and I am delighted to see the Art and Science building receive this funding to provide a wonderful experience for those who attend the college,” said Jones.
The funding will be used to improve the classrooms and lab facilities at the college. In the Art and Science building are housed the physics and chemistry labs, art, music and dance labs, education and transfer programs, and other arts and sciences classes.
“This renovation project will provide a better learning environment at Washington State College by improving facilities and increasing access for students to different mediums of academic programs,” said Edwards.
