Rep. Brewer Urges New Contract Negotiations for Valley Ford Trucking Company Employees

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Darnell T. Brewer (D-Cleveland) today urges Valley Ford Trucking Company to revisit their offer & negotiations with International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Local 1363, after the company's contract rejection.

"A new contract is critical to the well-being of employees at Valley Ford Trucking Company and for the success and longevity of the company. Employees have the right to an agreement that reflects their importance to the business and promises economic security for their families,” said Rep. Brewer. “Prioritizing the welfare of employees in negotiations will cultivate the vital value of collaboration, strengthening the company. A fair contract that protects employees and their families will have a lasting impact on Valley Ford Trucking."
