Representative Abrams to Chair Ohio House Criminal Justice Committee

COLUMBUS – State Representative Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) today announced her assignment as Chairwoman for the Ohio House of Representatives Criminal Justice Committee. 

“I am excited and honored to Chair the Criminal Justice Committee. Justice and public safety have been a priority throughout my tenure at the House,” Abrams said. “I am extremely grateful to Speaker Stephens for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to hearing legislation that will keep Ohio safe.”

Abrams was appointed to serve in this position by Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill).

“Representative Abrams’s experience in law enforcement and legislative record makes her extremely qualified to serve as Chairwoman of the Criminal Justice Committee,” Speaker Stephens said. “I have no doubt in her ability to lead this committee.”
