Abrams Appointed to Five House Committees

COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) recently selected State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) to serve on five House committees for the 134th General Assembly.

The committees include:

Criminal Justice
Families, Aging and Human Services
Finance
Government Oversight
Rules and Reference

“I’m thankful Speaker Cupp chose me to serve on these important committees,” said Abrams. “I look forward to having thoughtful policy discussions on the challenging issues we face today.”

Abrams is also serving as Assistant Majority Whip for the 134th General Assembly. Prior to being elected to the House, she served as a Police Officer for the City of Cincinnati and as City Councilwoman for the City of Harrison.

“The Ohio House is a talented group of members with extensive experience, knowledge and a passion for public service,” said Cupp. “I look forward to a robust committee process that results in good public policy for Ohio.”
