COLUMBUS – State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) today applauded Heartland Steel Products’ announcement of expanding its facility in Harrison, creating 25 new jobs and investing $650,000 to expand production capacity.
Heartland Steel Products is a manufacturer of custom warehouse solutions for retailers and distributors. In 2010, Heartland purchased the Harrison facility from Torbek Industries.
“This is great news for our region, and I’m thrilled to see more manufacturing job opportunities for the hardworking people in our community,” said Abrams. “I sincerely thank JobsOhio, REDI Cincinnati, and many local stakeholders for their effective collaboration in making this project possible.”
Abrams noted that Heartland made the decision to focus its resources in Harrison based on the city’s superior access to highways, closer proximity to clients, and space at the site for continued growth.
