Rep. Russo announces committee assignments for the 134th General Assembly

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) released the following statement today on her committee assignments for the 134th General Assembly:

“I am excited to have been selected to serve on these important committees,” said Rep. Russo. “I look forward to using my experience and expertise to work tirelessly to address the critical issues facing Ohioans and their families. I am especially honored to be fighting for the health and wellbeing of all our citizens during a period of exceptional challenges to our state.”

Rep. Russo will serve on the following committees:

Health Committee, serving as Ranking Member
Finance Committee
Finance Subcommittee on Health and Human Services
State and Local Government Committee
Families, Aging and Human Services Committee
 

Committee meetings are crucial to the formation of laws.  All bills must have at least two hearings in committee to allow opponents and proponents to present testimony and voice opinions on potential changes to bills before they are considered by the full House.
