State Rep. Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today issued a statement announcing approximately $7.63 million in funding for The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) in Franklin County, which was passed with Democratic backing in the state’s transportation budget earlier this year.
“Strong public transit is an essential element of regional growth and prosperity. By connecting people, we expand economic development, access to jobs, healthcare, and community. COTA’s continued innovation and national recognition is a model of how public transit can transform a community, and this funding will help continue that transformation.”
