COLUMBUS – State Reps. Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Westlake) and Thomas F. Patton (R-Strongsville) this week introduced the Brenna Brossard SUDEP Awareness Act, bipartisan legislation to raise awareness around Sudden Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). 

COLUMBUS –State Reps. Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Westlake) and Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) have introduced “prompt pay” legislation that would require owners of private sector construction projects to pay prime contractors in 30 days or less after invoices are provided.

COLUMBUS – Ohio House Democrats today celebrate the passage of the bipartisan Operating Budget (HB 33) by the House of Representatives. The revised two-year budget bill outlines spending of $88 billion in state dollars, prioritizing improvements in public education funding and teacher pay, expansion of Medicaid coverage and other healthcare areas, expansion in childcare capacity and programs, and upgraded funding for local government infrastructure projects.
