State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) is pleased to congratulate Janice Marshall on her retirement as Township Administrator for Copley Township.  Janice was initially appointed as Copley Fiscal Officer in October 2004 and became Copley Township Administrator in April 2016.

State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson), Bill Roemer (R-Richfield), and Jim Hoops (R-Napoleon) today applauded the signing of House Bills 124, 129, 309, 186, and 335 – five initiatives championed by House Republicans that work to curb tax hikes and deliver direct property tax relief to Ohioans, totaling more than $3 billion in savings.  

(Columbus, Ohio) – State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) is encouraging Ohioans to submit a public comment following the U.S. EPA Region 5’s proposal to reject the E-Check Ease Act: 

Chairman Bill Roemer (R–Richfield) today expressed his strong disappointment in the U.S. EPA Region 5’s decision to reject the E-Check Ease Act — legislation that would have allowed residents in seven Northeast Ohio counties to submit an attestation form in place of a physical E-Check inspection.

COLUMBUS – Governor DeWine signed the Escaped Convict Alert Program (ECAP) into law on Monday. Introduced by State Representatives Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Twp.), this legislation will strengthen public safety through a new alert system which will notify residents when a nearby convict escapes from custody.

Speaker of the Ohio House Matt Huffman (R-Lima) today announced that House Bills 186 and 335, two initiatives that deliver property tax relief to Ohioans with more than $2.4 billion in savings, have been passed by the Ohio House of Representatives.

COLUMBUS – State Representatives Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Jack Daniels (R-New Franklin) announced that legislation to designate the Captain Joshua Michael McClimans Memorial Highway passed through the Ohio House of Representatives unanimously yesterday. 

State Representative Bill Roemer (R–Richfield) commended May Juan Chen, of Akron, for her induction into the Ohio Department of Aging’s Senior Citizens Hall of Fame at a ceremony held in the Statehouse on Wednesday, September 10th. The Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame honors older Ohioans who exemplify a positive image of aging and have made significant contributions in their professions and communities.
