Ohio Jewish Caucus Welcomes US-Backed Ceasefire, Hopes First Phase Will End the War, Bring Hostages Home
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Jewish Caucus today released the following statement on the agreement by Israel and Hamas to the US-backed peace plan:
“We welcome the announcement of a ceasefire and we pray it is a successful first step in ending the war and bringing home all of the remaining hostages. Thousands of innocent lives have been tragically lost to this conflict and it is crucial to complete the remaining steps of the US-backed ceasefire to ensure that peace returns to all.”
