Rep. Anita Somani sworn in as state representative for Ohio House District 11

COLUMBUS- State Rep. Anita Somani (D-Dublin) took the oath of office during the opening session of the 135th Ohio General Assembly at the Ohio Statehouse Tuesday, officially beginning Rep. Somani’s term as state representative for Ohio House District 11.

“I am excited to begin serving the constituents of District 11. I understand the need for government to remove barriers that prevent all Ohioans from accessing the tools and resources necessary for them to succeed,” said Rep. Somani.

Rep. Somani outlined her top legislative priorities for the 135th General Assembly, which include:

· Working for quality and affordable healthcare;

· Sensible gun legislation;

· Fully investing in public education so that every child has the tools needed to succeed.
