COLUMBUS – State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon), a member of the Ohio House Pro-Life Caucus, was pleased to join thousands of fellow Ohioans at the Statehouse for the annual Ohio March for Life. 

State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) today announced that the Ohio Senate voted to complete the override of the Governor’s veto of Item #66, putting into motion landmark property tax reform through a provision that encourages levy transparency and promotes responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars on the local level. This follows the Ohio House vote to override this veto in July. 

LEBANON, OH – State Representative and attorney Adam Mathews today called for the immediate resignation of Judge Ted Berry following a series of public comments on social media about the tragic death of Charlie Kirk. The statements, which celebrated the death with vitriolic, racially charged, and political language, represent a serious violation of the ethical standards required of every judge in Ohio.

State Representatives David Thomas (R-Jefferson) and Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) today announced that they introduced the Senior Protection from Foreclosure Act – the first legislation of its kind in the nation. The bill would prevent a senior homeowner from being foreclosed upon for delinquent property taxes. The sponsors shared that the goal of this legislation is to codify existing standard practices across Ohio to keep elderly residents in their home regardless of property tax delinquencies.
