Rep. Holmes Joins Space Industry Leaders in Sandusky Area

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) visited Plum Brook station located in Sandusky, Ohio last Saturday to meet with top leaders within the space industry and to celebrate the completion of testing on the Artemis capsule.

The Artemis capsule will take the next Americans to the Moon.

Holmes joined President of the Ohio Aerospace Institute, Dr. John Sankovic, Chairman of the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Council, Dr. Carlos Grodsinsky and Director of the Plum Brook Station, BGen (Ret) David Stringer.

“These gentlemen are brilliant scientists and true leaders in the space industry,” said Rep. Holmes. “I am honored to work with them and support them in any way I can.”

Arriving at Plum Brook in November 2019, the Artemis capsule underwent Thermal Vacuum testing and Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility testing.
