State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) spearheaded legislation establishing a suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline, which unanimously passed through the Ohio House Wednesday. Pavliga, the sponsor of the bill, spoke to it on the House floor today.

State Representative Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) spearheaded House Bill 377 as one of the primary sponsors, which includes $422 million in funding to the Office of Budget and Management to disburse to local governments in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act.

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) is scheduled to serve as the Grand Marshal of the “Light Ohio Blue” Cruiser Caravan Tuesday in support of the organization’s weeklong campaign bringing an awareness to supporting law enforcement across the state.
