The Ohio House Agriculture and Rural Development Committee held a hearing yesterday at The Ohio State University to examine new developments in agricultural technology.

State Representative Kellie Deeter (R-Norwalk) announced that the Ohio House of Representatives this week passed House Bill 423, legislation she sponsored that establishes regulations for the certification of surgical assistants and technologists practicing at Ohio hospitals and surgery centers. 

State Representative Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) and a bipartisan group of Ohio state representatives took a tour of the NASA John H. Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

State Representative Heidi Workman (R-Rootstown) today announced she has been tasked to serve on the newly formed Joint Data Center Committee, a bipartisan legislative panel created to examine the economic, environmental, energy, and security impacts of data center development across Ohio. The committee will engage with stakeholders, industry experts, and Ohio communities to better understand how the rapid expansion of data centers is affecting regions throughout the state.
