House Committee Begins Hearings on Bill to Establish Pilot Program for Remote Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder

COLUMBUS—The Ohio House Behavioral Health Committee today began testimony on House Bill 300, which will establish and fund a pilot program for the remote treatment of opioid use disorder, announced bill sponsor, State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth).

State Rep. Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) has continued his effort to move the “Higher Education Return on Investment Act” forward through the Legislature. Criminal Justice Committee Passes Bill to Raise Penalties for Felony Domestic Violence Offenders

COLUMBUS – House Bill 111, which will raise the penalties for domestic violence offenders from a “low tier” third-degree felony to a “high tier” third-degree felony, passed the House Criminal Justice Committee 11-0. Bill sponsors, State Reps. LaRe (R-Violet Twp.) and Miller (R-Newark) were pleased to see unanimous support from the committee.
