COLUMBUS – State Representative Michelle Teska (R-Clearcreek Township) took the oath of office Monday to begin her first term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. 

COLUMBUS –Senate Bill 54, which includes a measure to create the Ohio River Commission, is on its way to the Governor’s desk for a signature, announced State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County).

COLUMBUS—The Parents’ Bill of Rights, priority legislation for the 135th General Assembly, was recently sent to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine for a signature, announced bill sponsor, State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron). 

COLUMBUS—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine yesterday signed House Bill 81 into Ohio law, announced State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron). Incorporated into the bill are two measures sponsored by Swearingen. 

COLUMBUS—The Ohio General Assembly yesterday approved Senate Bill 158, legislation that was amended to include House Bill 283, which will add a judge to the Adams County common pleas court, announced bill joint sponsor, State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland).

COLUMBUS –Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today signed House Bill 81 into Ohio law, announced State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County). Incorporated into the bill was House Bill 487, a measure sponsored by Pizzulli that will designate a portion of State Route 41 in Adams County as the TSgt. Grover Lee Swearingen Memorial Highway.

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Thomas Hall (R- Madison Twp.) is pleased to announce that House Bill 303, legislation to establish a process by which a person may request to add new training or continuing education topics for EMS personnel, was signed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. 

COLUMBUS—The Ohio Senate yesterday concurred with House amendments to Senate Bill 54, announced State Rep. Don Jones (R-Freeport).

COLUMBUS—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today signed House Bill 5, the Adoption Modernization Act, announced bill sponsor, Assistant Majority Whip Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth). House Bill 5 was priority legislation for the 135th General Assembly.
