Hall's School Gun and Safety Training Bill Signed into Law

State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) spearheaded and was the primary sponsor of House Bill 99, which was signed into law on Monday by Gov. Mike DeWine. Pavliga's Bipartisan Bill Addressing Opioid Crisis Approved by General Assembly

State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) announces bipartisan legislation addressing the opioid crisis was approved by the General Assembly on Wednesday. The legislation, under House Bill 193, requires Schedule II prescriptions to be completed electronically. Pavliga is a joint sponsor of the bill alongside State Rep. Al Cutrona.

Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari's Bill to Combat Organized Retail Crime Signed into Law

Ohio House Bill 272 championed by State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) was signed into law by the governor Wednesday. The legislation designed to combat organized retail crime, jointly sponsored by State Rep. Phil Plummer (R-Dayton), requires high-volume, third-party online sellers to disclose certain pieces of identifying information in order to protect consumers. Ghanbari attended the bill signing ceremony.
