Leaders move to meet September bipartisan deadline for redistricting
COLUMBUS - House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati) and Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) today introduced legislation putting forth the fairest congressional redistricting proposal in recent years. Democrats are introducing their redistricting plan now to comply with Ohio’s September 30 deadline for the General Assembly to pass a bipartisan map.

Line-item 66 would eliminate several types of levies, limiting the choices voters have in how to support their schools and local governments, and would not provide real property tax relief to Ohioans. Real property tax relief is one of the most pressing needs for everyday Ohioans. House Democrats are ready and willing to work together to get that done.
