COLUMBUS — State Reps. Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) and Crystal Lett (D-Columbus) Friday introduced legislation that would require data centers to report monthly and yearly water consumption and to prohibit data centers from including water consumption information in nondisclosure agreements with political subdivisions. 

 
 

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Jewish Caucus today announced the passage of Senate Bill (SB) 450, the state's biennial capital appropriations budget. The bill allocates nearly $4B for the maintenance, renovation, and construction of state-owned infrastructure, including colleges, universities, school districts, and other community projects.

COLUMBUS – Reps. Tristan Rader (D – Cleveland) and Sean Brennan (D – Parma) sent a letter urging Governor DeWine to veto Substitute House Bill 173. This letter cites concerns regarding the conflicting regulatory frameworks between HB 173 and the one laid out in the recent Ohio Supreme Court Ruling In re Complaint of Ohio Power Co. v. This legislation would require decommission plans to be submitted to the Ohio Power Siting Board and submit safety plans to local fire departments prior to construction of a natural gas fuel cell facility.
