COLUMBUS—State Representatives Meredith Craig (R–Smithville) and Jim Thomas (R-Jackson Township) today announced the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 105, legislation to reform Ohio’s third-party litigation funding practices to protect consumers, strengthen Ohio’s legal system, and improve the state’s business climate.

Ohio Jewish Caucus Secures over $2.3M in Capital Funding for Jewish Community Organizations Across Ohio

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Jewish Caucus today announced the passage of Senate Bill (SB) 450, the state's biennial capital appropriations budget. The bill allocates nearly $4B for the maintenance, renovation, and construction of state-owned infrastructure, including colleges, universities, school districts, and other community projects.

Reps. Rader, Brennan, Call on Governor to Protect Consumer Protections & Veto HB 173 Sub-metering Regulations

COLUMBUS – Reps. Tristan Rader (D – Cleveland) and Sean Brennan (D – Parma) sent a letter urging Governor DeWine to veto Substitute House Bill 173. This letter cites concerns regarding the conflicting regulatory frameworks between HB 173 and the one laid out in the recent Ohio Supreme Court Ruling In re Complaint of Ohio Power Co. v. Nationwide Energy Partners, L.L.C.
