Rep. Sims Announces Ranking Member Assignment for House Local Government Committee, New House Committee Assignments

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Veronica Sims (D-Akron) today announced that she has been assigned as ranking member for the House Local Government Committee for the 136th General Assembly.

“I look forward to the tremendous opportunities my committee assignments embody. I am very excited to bring my experience and insights as a former school board, city council, and county council member to the work as ranking member of the Local Government Committee,” said Rep. Sims.

Rep. Sims today also announced that she has been assigned to the following House Committees for the 136th General Assembly:

  •      House Agriculture Committee
  •    House Finance Committee
  •    House Government Oversight Committee
  •     House Local Government Committee
