Hall Welcomes Director Mihalik to the 46th House District
COLUMBUS—State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) yesterday welcomed Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik to Liberty Township.
Mihalik and Hall, along with State Senator George Lang, met with local and county officials to discuss future development projects in Liberty Township and throughout Butler County as a whole. The projects will be funded by the All Ohio Future Fund and site redevelopment programs, such as brownfield remediation and building demolition, included in the state budget passed in June.
“I appreciate Director Mihalik taking the time to travel to Butler County to discuss the future of development in our district,” said Hall. “I’m excited for what’s to come.”
The state budget invests $750 million into the All Ohio Future Fund, which is used to prepare locations for large-scale development projects. The budget also invests $500 million into brownfield remediation and building demolition programs to revitalize unused or underutilized land.
