Minority Ballot Board Members Ask Ohio Supreme Court to Rectify Republicans' Conflict of Interest in Citizens Not Politicians Case

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) and State Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) Wednesday submitted a filing with the Ohio Supreme Court detailing the alleged legal malpractice of Attorney General Dave Yost and overtly partisan behavior of the Ballot Board chair Secretary of State Frank LaRose concerning each party’s conduct with the Citizens Not Politicians legal matter.

Dave Yost Ignores Democrats' Legal Rights in Ethically Questionable Proceedings on Ballot Board Lawsuit

COLUMBUS — House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) and Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) today sent a letter to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost detailing his blatant disregard for the legal rights of the minority members of the Ohio Ballot Board— Rep. Rep. Upchurch Announces $1.2M for Department of Children & Youth for Cribs for Kids, Combat Infant Mortality

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved $1.2M under the Department of Children & Youth with the aim of combating infant mortality. The funds will be used in partnership with the non-profit organization Cribs for Kids which will provide eligible parents education on the importance of and how to practice safe sleep with their infant. Cribs for Kids will also furnish parents a product to allow them to put their baby to sleep safely and assist with practice safe sleep.
