Reps. Brewer & Upchurch Announce the Introduction of the CWRU Community Card

COLUMBUS- State Reps. Darnell T. Brewer (D-Cleveland) and Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) today issued the following statement regarding the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) Community Card:

“The Community Card is a great asset and resource. With options ranging from discounts, free access, and reduced-price tickets for events in the area, a CWRU Community Card helps members to become active and involved in the community at a low cost,” said Reps. Brewer & Upchurch. 

The CWRU Community Card is an official Case Western Reserve University identification card that grants the cardholder special privileges and access to selected CWRU amenities and services. To be eligible for the CWRU Community card, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Cleveland Wards 6, 7, or 9 or the City of East Cleveland. There are many benefits available to cardholders, such as free access to the following:

  • Sudeck Track          
  • The University Farm
  • Carlton Tennis Court
  • Basketball Courts

Cardholders will also receive discounts on the following:

  • Plum Market Kitchen
  • Barnes and Noble Campus Bookstore
  • The Jolly Scholar
  • Dunkin' Donuts in Tinkham Veale University Center
  • The Elephant Step Inn
  • Starbucks @ The North Residential Village
  • Rec Membership to Veale & Wyant Athletic Centers & One to One Fitness Membership

Additionally, there are reduced-priced tickets to other experiences, movies, sporting events, shows, and much more (subject to seasonal availability).
