Rep. Upchurch Recognizes $2.5M of Funding for Local University, Hospitals

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Terrence Upchurch (D-Cleveland) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved more than $2.5M in funding for House District 20.
“There is something satisfying about seeing money go back to the community you grew up in and now serve. I will continue to fight for more funding to revitalize and aid House District 20,” said Rep. Upchurch.
The projects include:
- $1M to Case Western for tech validation and startup fund programming.
- $1M to Cleveland Clinic to develop biomedical and software technologies.
- $500K to University Hospitals Health System to boost commercialization of UH-owned intellectual property.
