Representative Ray Receives Honored Luminary Award

State Representative Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) is pleased to share that she received the Honored Luminary award at the annual Infant Vitality Advocacy Day for her leadership and dedication to advancing perinatal mental health.

The Infant Vitality Advocates group is made up of four organizations including First Year Cleveland, Cradle Cincinnati, the Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality, and CelebrateOne.

“It was an honor to receive this award. Improving health outcomes for mothers and babies is good for all Ohioans,” said Rep. Ray.

Rep. Ray is a co-sponsor of House Concurrent Resolution 12 – legislation that recognizes the importance of prenatal mental health. This bill awaits further consideration in House Health Committee.
