Rep. Brennan announces school safety funding
COLUMBUS- State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) is happy to report that hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds will be allocated to schools throughout District 14 to enhance safety and security.
“As a public school teacher for three decades, I can attest to the anxiety that students and faculty feel on a daily basis. I look forward to working with my colleagues at the Statehouse to remain focused on ensuring that our schools are safe places and conducive to students achieving their full potential,” Rep. Brennan stated.
Ohio’s K-12 School Safety Grant Program provides ARPA dollars to assist in upgrading physical safety and security measures to protect our young people, the teachers, and the paraprofessionals who serve them.
