February 24, 2025
Sean P. Brennan News

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (Parma) today announced that he has been assigned to the following House Committees for the 136th General Assembly:

¿        House Public Insurance and Pensions Committee (Ranking Member)

¿        House Education Committee

¿        House Energy Committee

¿        House Local Government Committee

¿        Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR)

“Serving on five of the busiest and most important committees in the Ohio General Assembly is a big task, but I am up for the challenge and very honored to do so. My goals are to work with my Democratic and Republican colleagues to protect Ohio’s workers should they get injured on the job or become unemployed, to look out for our public servants who sacrifice so much for their communities and deserve to retire with peace of mind, to ensure our youngsters are given the resources they need to reach their academic and workforce potential, to make sure that Ohioans are provided with affordable and reliable utilities, and to provide our local governments with the resources they need to provide excellent safety, recreation, and other services that their residents expect and deserve,” said Rep. Brennan.

Rep. Brennan is a second term member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He served on Parma City Council for 19 years and as a public-school teacher, middle and high school social studies teacher for 30 years before joining the Ohio General Assembly.
