Rep. Brennan announces job creation award
COLUMBUS- State Representative Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) is announcing Victoriaville & Co. USA Manufacturing Inc. was awarded an estimated $514,000 job creation tax credit from the state of Ohio. The largest producer of wooden caskets and one of the largest distributors of funeral supplies in North America. Victoriaville will be required to create 100 new full-time jobs, generate $5 million in new payroll by the end of 2026, and stay in Cleveland for at least 11 years in order to receive the credit’s full value.
“I am excited to watch this project come to fruition after a lot of hard work from all of those involved, including Ward 16 Councilman Brian Kazy, Mayor Justin Bibb, County Executive Chris Ronayne, and County Councilman Dale Miller,” said Rep. Brennan, whose district the facility will be located in. “Job creation and retention are vital to our local economy and key to improving the quality of life of those we serve.”
The family-owned Canadian business has experienced incredible growth in recent years and is seeking to expand into the United States. Victoriaville’s 67,000-square foot manufacturing facility is proposed for 4848 W. 130th Street in Cleveland’s Ward 16.
