Sean P. Brennan News

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) today announced the approval of several funding requests to provide election-related resources ahead of the November 2024 general election.

“The expenses to ensure an accessible, safe, and fair election is a wise use of taxpayer dollars,” said Rep. Brennan. “I am especially happy that residents will be mailed vote-by-mail applications this election cycle. It is particularly important to provide this method of voting to working Ohioans and anyone else who cannot make it to the polls on election day. It also allows voters to research who and what is on their ballot in the convenience of their home prior to casting their vote.”

The funding will be used by the local county boards of elections to purchase additional electronic poll books, pay for the printing & mailing of absentee ballots, and produce several election-related public service announcements encouraging Ohioans to register to vote on or before November 5.  It is estimated that as many as 8M vote-by-mail ballot applications will be printed, addressed, and delivered for the November 5 election.
