Representative Oelslager to Serve as Chair of House Finance Committee

Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) today appointed State Rep. Scott Oelslager as Chairman of the House Finance Committee during the 134th General Assembly. 

“I am looking forward to working with my colleagues during this very upcoming and important operating budget year as we continue facing issues surrounding the pandemic,” said Oelslager. “I’d like to thank Speaker Cupp for his faith in me to lead the Ohio House through this critical task.”

Oelslager previously served the last two years as House Finance Chair and six years under the same role for the Senate Finance Committee.

Oelslager will also serve on the House Rules and Reference Committee.
