Antonio (D-Lakewood) today introduced legislation putting forth the fairest congressional redistricting proposal in recent years. Democrats are introducing their redistricting plan now to comply with Ohio’s September 30 deadline for the General Assembly to pass a bipartisan map.

State Representative Jim Thomas (R-Plain Township) today highlighted that the Brownfield Remediation Program Application period opens today, August 11, with approximately $120 million available through the program.

COLUMBUS – Ohio House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati) and Senate Democratic Leader Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate has opened a public submissions portal where citizens can now submit their own congressional maps to be considered during the upcoming redistricting process. COLUMBUS – House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati) today voted “NO” on the vote to override a school district property tax levy restriction provision vetoed in House Bill 96 (the state operating budget). Line-item 66 would eliminate several types of levies, limiting the choices voters have in how to support their schools and local governments, and would not provide real property tax relief to Ohioans. Real property tax relief is one of the most pressing needs for everyday Ohioans. House Democrats are ready and willing to work together to get that done.
