Fowler Arthur Sworn-In as State Representative for the 99th Ohio House District
Today, State Rep. Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Geneva-on-the-Lake) was sworn-in for her first term of office as the state representative for the 99th Ohio House District. The district includes portions of Ashtabula and Geauga Counties.
“I am very humbled to join my new colleagues today by being sworn-in to the 134th General Assembly,” said Fowler Arthur. “After this difficult past year, I want to ensure that my constituents of the 99th district have a voice down in Columbus and I intend to deliver on their needs.”
Fowler Arthur has previously represented the people of Ohio, having served on the Ohio State Board of Education since 2013. Fowler has also served on more than a dozen State Board of Education committees and several workgroups, which has given her a wide range of education policy experience.
Along with education, Fowler noted several other priorities she wants to focus on for the upcoming year.
“By being raised and growing up in Ashtabula County, I understand the district and the concerns our people face,” said Fowler Arthur. “Heading into 2021, I believe that agriculture, tourism and economic development, and taking care of our veterans are some of those top issues that need to be addressed.”
Fowler Arthur encourages constituents to reach out to her office with any questions, concerns, or ideas at Rep99@ohiohouse.gov.
