Fowler Arthur Appointed to Committee Assignments
Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) appointed State Rep. Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Geneva-on-the-Lake) to several of the House standing committees for the 134th General Assembly.
Fowler Arthur has been assigned to the following committees:
· Agriculture and Conservation
· Armed Services and Veterans Affairs
· Primary and Secondary Education
· State and Local Government
“I’m sincerely grateful to Speaker Cupp for assigning me to these respective committee positions,” said Fowler Arthur. “With my experience and background, I find these very appropriate and I look forward to bringing my ideas and the concerns of my constituents to these committees for the next two years.”
Previously, Fowler Arthur served on the Ohio State Board of Education since 2013 and more than a dozen State Board of Education committees and several workgroups. She notes that this has given her a significant range of education policy experience.
Additionally, Fowler Arthur previously acknowledged that agriculture and veterans were among some of the top issue-areas that she wanted to address at the Statehouse. With these committee assignments, the representative believes this will help her to be a part of the process of finding solutions on these topics.
