Fowler Arthur receives committee assignments

Ohio Rep. Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Geneva-on-the-Lake), whose district includes the majority of Ashtabula County, has received her committee assignments.

Fowler Arthur will serve on the agriculture and conservation, armed services and veterans affairs, primary and secondary education and state and local government committees.

“I’m sincerely grateful to Speaker Cupp for assigning me to these respective committee positions,” Fowler Arthur said in a press release. “With my experience and background, I find these very appropriate and I look forward to bringing my ideas and the concerns of my constituents to these committees for the next two years.”

Before being elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, Fowler Arthur was a member of the Ohio State Board of Education.

Fowler Arthur was elected in November. She replaced former Rep. John Patterson, who did not seek reelection due to term limits.

Fowler Arthur represents Ohio’s 99th District, which includes most of Ashtabula and Geauga counties.
