Klopfenstein Announces the Staff Sgt. Zach Wobler Highway Unveiling

State Representative Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) will be attending the Staff Sargent Zach Wobler Memorial Highway unveiling in Paulding, Ohio at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 11th. This highway, U.S. Route 127, will honor the life and legacy of Staff Sergeant Zachary Wobler, a highway adjacent to where the Staff Sgt. grew up.

“Staff Sargent Wobler paid the ultimate price for protecting our freedom,” said Representative Klopfenstein. “This is just a small part in honoring his sacrifice by naming this section of US Route 127.”

Klopfenstein pioneered this legislation to help honor the life of Staff Sgt. Zachary Wobler, of Ottawa, Ohio, who was killed in action in 2005 fighting for the freedoms of our nation. He was a member of the Army’s 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. The northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. Route 127 between Rd. 126 and Paulding County Rd. 60 will be dedicated to Staff Sgt. Wobler.
