Creech Issues Statement on Governor DeWine's Announcement
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Rodney Creech (R-West Alexandria) today issued the following statement regarding Governor DeWine’s announcement on Wednesday:
“Although long overdue, I am pleased to see the restrictive health orders and mandates on Ohioans will soon be lifted. It’s no doubt in my mind that this is a result of Senate Bill 22 becoming effective next month. The General Assembly heard the concerns of our constituents, and we took action to protect the freedoms and liberties of all Ohioans.
Getting the COVID-19 vaccine is a decision by the individual and their doctor. Having taxpayers foot the bill of a $5 million vaccine incentive lottery program is a careless and offensive use of federal funds.
Ohio businesses are in desperate need of workers. This large sum of money would be better spent helping our employers and our economy get back on track.”
