David Waikem, small business owner of Waikem Auto Family in Massillion, had an opportunity to give testimony before the Ohio 2020 Economic Recovery Task Force. The Task Force recently began an initiative to reach out to small business owners across the state to get their feedback and testimonies at the meetings in order to gauge the impact on businesses due to COVID-19.

State Rep. Reggie Stoltzfus (R-Paris Twp.) announced federal funding relief from the CARES Act that will be distributed to the city of Alliance and other portions of Stark County. The funding will be provided by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Today, Speaker Householder appointed state Rep. Reggie Stoltzfus (R-Paris Twp.) to the Ohio House 2020 Economic Recovery Task Force, a bipartisan panel tasked with studying how to help Ohio’s economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Reggie Stoltzfus (R-Paris Twp.) announced that Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has declared a state of emergency in 63 Ohio counties this week. These counties experienced severe weather last month which caused extreme highway damage.

COLUMBUS— Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) today announced the Ohio House passage of House Bill 10, legislation that creates the Governor’s Office of Drug Policy. This legislation, sponsored by State Representatives Richard Brown (D-Canal Winchester) and Reggie Stoltzfus (R-Minerva) will create a permanent, centralized office within the governor’s office to coordinate the state’s drug-related efforts. The bill also will help support local efforts, including sharing best practices that have made a difference and helping facilitate mutual aid across communities.
