COLUMBUS— State Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey (D-Columbus) announced she will hold the following community hours for constituents in House District 26:

·         Thursday, Nov. 5 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library-Reynoldsburg Branch (1402 Brice Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068)

·         Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library-Southeast Branch (Hamilton Square Boulevard, 3980 S Hamilton Rd, Groveport, OH 43125)

·         Monday, Nov. 15 from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library- Driving Park Branch (1422 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43205)

Humphrey aims to engage directly with community members to create a space for active involvement surrounding the important issues that may be impacting the District. Rep. Humphrey’s top priorities include protecting access to quality, affordable healthcare, expanding safe, affordable housing to lower income Ohioans, reforming the state’s broken criminal justice system, and promoting public safety by focusing on accountability and building better community-police relations. She hopes to engage in meaningful discourse with community members, and encourages the people of House District 26 to join the conversation.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to lift up the voices of the marginalized in communities like mine across the state, for people who need access not only to good paying jobs, but also to quality healthcare, affordable housing, and a justice system that works for them—not simply against them,” said Rep. Humphrey.

Constituents are encouraged to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing during the community hours.
