COLUMBUS – State officials announced that the Village of Shawnee will receive a grant to assist with flood control and drainage improvements.
The $300,000 Critical Infrastructure Grant will be used to install 13 new catch basins, 984 feet of storm sewer, 1,165 feet of curb, 900 square feet of concrete sidewalks, and curb ramps.
Shawnee is one of 13 communities receiving funding from the Ohio Department of Development’s critical infrastructure grant program.
“It is wonderful to see state dollars being invested in our community to help reduce flooding and improve drainage,” said Miller.
