Miller Supports Ghanbari's '#RideAlongAndLearn Challenge'

COLUMBUS – State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark) joined State Representative Ghanbari and numerous other legislatures today to announce the nationwide challenge dubbed #RideAlongAndLearn, during a press conference., 

“As a former member of the law enforcement community myself it is extremely important to build awareness and appreciation for the difficult job our states law enforcement face on a day to day basis,” said Miller. 

It is imperative that our elected officials and key leaders across this county grasp a proper understanding of the work law enforcement and first responders are responsible for. While riding along with local law enforcement it becomes clear to policymakers what needs addressed through law. 

“The law enforcement community is being ‘defunded through the demoralization of their profession,’” said Ghanbari. “I am challenging our elected officials and key influencers across the country to spend a shift on a ride-along with their local LEOs; it will provide an opportunity to gain an appreciation of their service, sacrifice, training and professionalism.”
